Historical Societies and Museums
Of the many railroads that built within Augusta County, a few lasted sufficiently in duration, to have
Historical Societies or Museums which collect, store, and author materials about them. In sequence, the Augusta County
Railroad Museum acknowledges the Chesapeake & Ohio Historical Society, the Baltimore and Ohio Historical Society,
